Prior to joining Globaleyes, Steven was a Senior Defense Analyst and Political/Military Affairs Officer and provided supervisory oversight over all military officers conducting interagency and intergovernmental coordination under the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). He was the Senior Agreements Officer and was assigned to the Aircraft and Ground Vehicle Division within the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), Department of State from July 2011 to October 2015. Steve adjudicated over 4,000 Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing Licensing Agreements, and Warehouse Distribution Agreements over the last four years and was DDTC’s primary agreements trainer. In addition, Steve was DDTC’s primary Industry Outreach Officer on the Agreements process and was recognized by the Society for International Affairs as the Government Speaker of the year for 2013.

Prior to his assignment with Department of State, Steve held a number of CONUS and OCONUS assignments to include assignments in Bosnia, Korea, Kosovo, Kuwait and Iraq as an Army Intelligence Officer.
Steven earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from George Mason University, a Master’s Degree in International Administration from Central Michigan University, and was a National Intelligence Scholar and Graduate from the Command and General Staff College in Leavenworth, KS. He currently resides in West Virginia with his wife and four children.
